Model the Values of an Organization
GEE has developed a proprietary triple bottom line process that can be adapted for additional dimensions (e.g. governance, investor relations, departmental mandates, etc.….) as needed by any organization. This process has been successful through many related initiatives such as with government & a local university to identify the balance needed for decision-making. Value-modelling both determines the values most important to an organization between staff, departments, union leadership, municipalities, and investors requiring consideration. To determine the relative priority of these values, a weighting exercise is conducted to develop a consensus between participating groups. Ultimately, all decision going forward are done so in an open transparent way to build consensus between all participants. With that kind of buy-in between groups, decision-making is made much stronger building support and delivering impact with social innovations.
